Pricing snapshot

The official page lists Simple at $49/month plus $6/person, Plus at $80 plus $12/person, and Premium at $180 plus $22/person. Contractor, benefits, support, payroll-speed, tax-registration, and other add-ons can change the total.

What the subscription does not operate for you

The employer still owns worker classification, complete employee data, approval, cash availability, state registrations, notices, benefit choices, and reconciliation with the general ledger.

Migration and exit checks

For a mid-year move, reconcile every employee and contractor, quarter-to-date payroll, taxes, deductions, contributions, garnishments, PTO, bank timing, and filings before the first live run.

Gusto provides reports, tax documents, and mapped ledger exports, but its transfer automation does not configure deductions, contributions, or other pay items. Prove the full record-retention and successor-import path before canceling.

ERPNext

Accounting plus CRM, HR, inventory, manufacturing, and order management

Tradeoff: A broad ERP has materially more setup and process-change work than a small accounting app.
