What the subscription does not operate for you
Define team boundaries, workflow states, triage, project ownership, issue hygiene, notification rules, integration permissions, and archive policy before migrating a backlog.
Migration and exit checks
Pilot one team, map users and concepts, compare counts and relationships, then test integrations and automation separately. Linear warns that source concepts without a close match may not import.
Workspace CSV exports cover rich issue fields but exclude attachment files; integrations, webhooks, keys, settings, roles, and some personal workspace state require separate reconstruction even between Linear workspaces.
