Pricing snapshot

Before promotions, the official US page lists Early at $25/month, Growing at $55, and Established at $90. Xero has announced increases to $27, $59, and $97 on October 1, 2026; payroll, inventory, projects, expenses, payment, and bank-feed fees are separate.

What the subscription does not operate for you

A bookkeeper or accountant still needs to own the chart, bank rules, reconciliations, close, access, sales tax, payment exceptions, supporting records, and review of automated entries.

Migration and exit checks

Reconcile opening balances, contacts, unpaid invoices and bills, fixed assets, inventory, bank reconciliation, tax periods, attachments, and historical financial statements before switching.

Xero says a complete exit requires exports from individual product areas plus separate reports. Some transaction exports are batched and templates or operational settings may not transfer, so test the archive and successor import before cancellation.

ERPNext

Accounting plus CRM, HR, inventory, manufacturing, and order management

Tradeoff: A broad ERP has materially more setup and process-change work than a small accounting app.
